DNA Slider Description
DNA Slider is a simple, small, command prompt based tool designed to help you perform four significance tests of heterogeneity in the ratio of polymorphic sites to fixed differences in DNA sequence data. The goal of the program is to identify genes that have more heterogeneity in the polymorphism-to-divergence ratio than expected under a neutral model. Peaks of high polymorphism may result from balancing selection, while areas of low polymorphism may be the result of selective sweeps.
